Mumbai: HCL Technologies Ltd today (Sept 20,2006) launched a product suite for pharmaceutical companies that provides submissions and labelling solutions facilitating global regulatory compliance for them.

The company today informed the Bombay Stock Exchange about the launch of its 'eCompliance' product suite which would help pharma companies remove errors relating to content compliance and manage the complex drug dossier approval process and reducing the regulatory approval cycle.

"The company's eCompliance suite, takes our compliance offering to the next level after the launch of easy Labeling for SPL compliance last year. Due to the global reach of regulations and the risks of non-compliance citations, regulatory compliance requires a holistic approach rather than events-driven ad hoc Solutions," HCL Technologies Vice President for Global Life Sciences and Healthcare practice Pradep Nair said.

The company's life sciences and healthcare practice provides composite solutions to customers in the areas of biomedical informatics, clinical pharmacogenomics, clinical trial management solutions, medical devices and hospital management systems in compliance with Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and other regulations such as International Conference on Harmonization (ICH).

The shares of the company were trading at Rs 550, down 1.07 per cent at the BSE.
