Mumbai: The Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark, Sensex, fell by 66.83 points at 11,906.19 points in early trade today (Sept 15, 2006) on emergence of profit booking at yesterday's higher level.

The Sensex, which had crossed 12,000 level on the previous day, fell 66.83 points at 11,906.19 points in the first five minutes of trading.

Similarly, the National Stock Exchange Index Nifty dropped by 19.45 points at 3,452.15 points.
