New Delhi: Domestic passenger car sales in July this year increased by 28.41 per cent at 81,038 units as compared to 63,104 units in the same month last year.

According to figures released by the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), motorcycle sales during the month also increased by 13.35 per cent at 4,53,152 units as against 3,99,778 units in the corresponding month a year ago.

Commercial vehicles also registered a growth of 37 per cent at 32,647 units as against 23,827 units in July last year.
