Mumbai: The Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark, Sensex, fell by 59.98 points in early trading on fresh selling by funds and retail investors.

The 30-share sensitive index was down by 59.98 points at 10,624.32 points in the first five minutes of trading.

Similarly, the National Stock Exchange index Nifty lost 20.45 points at 3,121.55 points.
