Stocks market up 103 points in during early trade Tuesday, July 4 2006 11:39 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

Tracking the global trend, the Bombay Stock Exchange key barometer, Sensex extended overnight gains and was up 103 points within ten minutes of trading following
strong buying by institutional investors.
The BSE-30 share sensitive index opened remarkably higher at 10,755.45 as against yesterday's close of 10,695.26 and moved up further to quote at 10,798.59, up by 103.33 points.
On the National Stock Exchange (NSE), the S&P CNX Nifty also improved further by 25.90 points to 3,176.85 from previous close of 3,150.95.
After injecting Rs 106.30 crore on June 30, Foreign Institutional Investors picked up shares worth Rs 257.55 crore on Monday as per provisional figures, while withdrawing Rs 332.43 crore in Futures and Options segment on the same day.
Domestic mutual funds also bought shares worth Rs 433.77 crore on June 30.
On Wall Street, the Dow Jones Industrial Average and the Nasdaq Composite Index rose by 77.80 points and 18.34 points respectively last night. Most of the Asian markets were also trading in the green early this morning.
