Mumbai: The Centre today (May 27, 2006) said it will revise the prices of petrol and diesel by next week, owing to an unprecedented hike in crude oil prices in the international market.

"The Government will soon come out with a small increase in the prices of petrol and diesel by next week, which everybody will have to bear with," Union Petroleum Minister, Murali Deora said here.

He was speaking after inaugurating state-owned Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited's Lube Oil Base Stocks (LOBS) project here.
