Ratan Tata join global leaders appointed member IBAC
Ratan Tata, who heads the biggest industrial conglomerate in India, today (Mar 21 2006) joined an elite group of global business leaders like Microsoft chief Bill Gates and BP Group CEO Lord Browns on the Board the International Business Advisory Council (IBAC), UK.

Sensex crosses 11,000 mark, falls back by 36 pts
The Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark Sensex today (Mar 21 2006) reached the 11,000 points milestone and also touched an all-time high of 11,017.25 on sustained buying by funds, but lost some ground to close at 10,905.20.

World oil prices continue lower in Asian trade
Oil prices in Asian trade continued lower to test the key 60 dollar support level today as expectations of a build in US crude stockpiles this week depressed prices further, dealers said. At 11:13 am (0543 IST) New York's main contract, light sweet crude for delivery in April, was down 42 cents to 60 dollars a barrel from its close of 60.42 dollars in the United States yesterday. Crude futures closed sharply lower in New York yesterday, losing more than two dollars despite fresh unrest in Nigeria, Africa's largest crude producer.
