RIL opens at Rs 709 during regular trading in BSE

Mumbai: Reliance Industries opened regular trading at Rs 709 a share, shortly after it discovered a new price of Rs 714.19 at the Bombay Stock Exchange.

The discovered price of the demerged RIL, at the special hour-long trading session from 0800 hrs, brought down itsweightage in the BSE index to 9.67 from 11.7, while it came down from 9.60 to 7.55 that the Mukesh Ambani company enjoyed as a combined entity.

The scrip had closed the special trading session at Rs 715.50 after high-volume trading at BSE.

BSE's benchamrk sensex opened 22 points lower at 9,293.80, indicating selling pressure.
