Sensex crosses 9,400 mark on aggressive funds buying Friday, December 30 2005 14:19 Hrs (IST) - World Time -
Mumbai:
The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) regained strength on aggressive buying by funds and pushed up the benchmark sensex once again over 9,400 marks.
The sensex gained 77.24 points at 9,400.49 during the mid session trading after the funds and general investors made heavy purchases in index related stocks.
Earlier, the sensex touch 9,442.98 points on December 23.
Other contributors were Reliance Capital, Reliance Energy, Grasim, Infosys, Bhel, Bajaj Auto, Larsen and Toubro and State Bank of India.
