Air Deccan acquires 30 Airbuses for $1.5 billion Air Deccan, India's No 01 low cost Airline announced its plans to purchase 30 more Airbus A 320's at a list price of $1.5 billion. The acquisition deal was signed with Airbus Industries earlier this week and the delivery will begin from 2008. Air Deccan had earlier this year placed orders for 32 Airbus A 320's and 30 ATR 72-500's and this fresh order will take up the total to 92 aircraft.
