Business School Bulls let loose in the markets

Lucknow: Manfest 06, The annual business event of IIM Lucknow in association with Karvy Stock Broking Ltd has launched a unique and mind blowing event called 'Go-Trade'.

'Go-Trade' is aimed at testing the investment and portfolio management skills of the students in a competitive environment.

The teams taking part in the event get a chance to manage a portfolio worth Rs 60,000/- over a period of two months.

The teams are allowed to invest in stocks listed in both BSE and NSE. With 200 teams taking part from all over the country the Indian markets can see an infusion of over one crore from a bunch of future fund managers. The event gives the students a chance to prove their metal and show that they are not all about theoretical knowledge.

With 142 teams from the IIM's taking part, the event has definitely attracted the best talent . The 'Karvy Young Fund Managers' Trophy will be fiercely fought for, in addition to the amazing prize money the event offers.

With the launch of Go-Trade, Manfest 06 has begun the with a bang and we can look forward to more innovative competitions from Manfest as it has been growing in leaps and bounds every year.
