Torry Harris to hire 250 professionals in India
Wednesday, November 16 2005 15:14 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

Bangalore: New Jersey-based Torry Harris Business Solutions, a leading provider of services in the Middleware Technology space, plans to hire 250 professionals in India by the third quarter of calendar year 2006 to scale up operations in this country.

The 750-employees privately-held company has development centres in Bangalore and Shenzhen in China and sales and operations offices in Europe, the Middle East and the Asia Pacific regions.

THBS announced that spurred by continued growth of sales this year, the company is planning to undertake new technology initiatives in the areas of SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) and OSS (Open Source Software) shortly.

"The new initiatives are a part of the company's commitment to providing its customers with alternatives to costly and rigid implementation by combining the strengths of SOA and OSS", THBS' Chief Operating Officer Ashwin Krishna told a press conference here today (Nov 16, 2005).

Krishna said at the end of the current year, THBS would be centralising its operations by relocating its four existing offices to a centrally located premise where it will have the capacity to further expand its business.

THBS said it provides IT services aimed at creating and maintaining mission-critical IT systems to industries like telecommunications, BFSI, e-governance and healthcare.
