Sensex plunges further by 113 pts on heavy selling
The Sensex continued to fall sharply for the third straight session today (Oct 28, 2005) and plunged by 113 points to end below the 7,700 level at 7685.64 on the Bombay Stock Exchange due to frantic selling following withdrawal of FIIs support.

Kohler Launches LPG run Generators in Indian market
Kohler India Corporation today (Oct 28, 2005) launched 8.5 RES (7.5 kW) and 12RES (10.5 kW) model LPG run Generators for residential and small-business applications in the India market. Higher power output, easier installation and quieter operation are some of the unique features of these generators. Kohler is first to introduce the world to automatic standby generators in 1920. Kohler will be selling these generators in Karnataka through their dealer Apollo Power System Pvt. Ltd.

Vodafone picks up equity in Bharti Tele for Rs 67 bn
Vodafone, world's largest mobile firm, today (Oct 28, 2005) acquired a 10 per cent stake in Sunil Mittal- promoted Bharti Televentures Ltd for Rs 67 bn ($1.5 billion).

Sensex declines sharply by 86 pts during early trade
The Sensex today (Oct 28, 2005) fell sharply by another 86 points at the opening session on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on increased selling pressure.
