Mumbai: Netscribes India Limited, India's first and one of the country's leading Knowledge Outsourcing Solutions firm announced the successful completion of the first full year of compliance to the ISO 9001:2000 international quality standards.

Netscribes had engaged KPMG, one of the leading professional services firm to achieve the ISO registration in 2004. KPMG has successfully conducted two bi-annual surveillance audits and recommended continuity of certification with no major or minor non-conformity in Netscribes' quality management system.

Commenting on this achievement, Sourav Mukherjee, CEO, Netscribes, said, "We at Netscribes have always strived to maintain high quality standards and it is reflected in our over 90% client retention rate. The ISO 9001:2000 international quality standards have stringent norms and a firm loses its certification if more than one major and/or six minor non-conformities are reported during audits. Notably, Netscribes did not report a single non-compliance in both the biannual audits.

Netscribes is now in the process of implementing the BS 7799 information security standards. The move is a continuation of Netscribes' commitment to maintain highest standards of security and ensure safety for the information that its customers have entrusted them with.
