Kingfisher announces daily flights on 2 new routes

Bangalore: Kingfisher Airlines, the wholly owned subsidiary of United Breweries, on Tuesday (Sep 13, 2005) announced the operation of daily Airbus A320 flights on two new routes - Bangalore-Chennai and Bangalore-Hyderabad from Wednesday (Sep 14, 2005).

The flights would be operated in both directions, a Kingfisher release said.

One-way fare on Bangalore-Chennai sector starts at Rs 1,299 plus taxes, while Bangalore-Hyderabad sector fares started at Rs 1,899 plus taxes, it said.

With the introduction of these two new routes, the number of daily flights offered by the carrier would go up to 34, the release said.
