Bangalore: Hinduja TMT today (Aug 10, 2005) announced that Bharti Tele-ventures Ltd has chosen the company as its strategic outsourcing partner for call centre service for its 12.5 million existing cellular services customers and new customers that would be added in the coming years in Bharti's 23 mobile circles across the country.

Hinduja TMT said in a statement it is among the four international BPOs chosen by the leading private sector provider of telecommunications services.

The BPO player said it's in the process of starting two state-of-the-art call centres in Hyderabad and Chennai.

These two centres would be operational by mid-September this year, and they would have a total of 700 seats and employ around 1,000 people, it said.

The company said it has already set up the necessary infrastructure required for this purpose and has launched one of its largest recruitment and training drives to meet the deadline.
