Bangalore: Wind River Systems, a leader in device software optimisation, has announced the appointment of Venkatesh Kumaran as the Country Manager-India.

Kumaran will be based at Bangalore, the company's India headquarters, a release said in Bangalore today (Aug 9, 2005).

Prior to joining Wind River India, Kumaran was the Regional Manager (US East and Canada) Tata Exlsi Limited based out of Boston.
