Mumbai: In restricted activity, prices moved in a narrow range and closed with moderate losses on the Bullion market here today (July 23, 2005).

Standard gold (99.5 purity) opened weak at Rs 6050 and after moving narrowly, closed at the same level, showing a fresh loss of Rs five over the last close of Rs 6055.

Pure gold (99.9 purity) also resumed lower at Rs 6085 and moved narrowly in the absence of any worthwhile activity, before closing at the same level, also showing a similar loss over yesterday's (July 22, 2005) close of Rs 6090.

Ready silver (.999 fineness), after a subdued start at Rs 10,685, recovered marginally on some low-level buying by industrial users and closed at Rs 10,690, still showing a fall of Rs 25 over the previous close of Rs 10,715.
