US-based CompuSystems kicks of BPO services in India
Tuesday, July 19 2005 14:52 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

Bangalore: Seeking to ride on the outsourcing boom, the US-based CompuSystems, Inc, today (July 19, 2005) announced setting up of BPO services operations in India to offer end-to-end recruitment solutions globally.

The company announced at a news conference in Bangalore that it has set up a global marketing and support center in Bangalore and delivery facilities out of Thiruvananthapuram.

The company's Vice-President, BPO, Anurag Gupta said the Michigan-headquartered firm currently has a staff strength of 100 in India and plans are on to scale it up to 600 in the next one-two years.

CompuSystems proposed to hire at least 100 people in 'recruitment factory', as it calls, 250 in BPO services and 150 in technical areas in the time-frame, its executives said.

The executives said the company would provide end-to-end services to its clients, from finding right resources to actually placing the candidate on the client's project overseas, by using its product 'E-maximm'.

E-maximm, it was explained, is an ASP-based solution that helps the organization saves on cost and turn-around time in making their human resource processes more effective and to add more value to their business.

Gupta said the company has already acquired about 15 major clients both in the US and the UK for BPO services.

With expansion plans in place, the company expects to clock turnover in excess of US $ 40 million in the next two years, officials said.

From Bangalore and Thiruvanthapuram, the company would offer solutions to global customers for various technical verticals. The company will also seek to partner with various Indian companies as well, it was stated.
