Mumbai: Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) independent director Y P Trivedi today (Jun 28, 2005) said that the corporate governance issues raised by former vice chairman and managing director Anil Ambani would not be brushed under the carpet but would be made transparent.

"Corporate governance issues will not be brushed aside. They would be made transparent," Trivedi said to newsmen after the board meeting in Mumbai.

He said that the company was trying to expedite the settlement process but declined to put any time frame to it.

On RIL board meeting, he said there was "nothing sensational happened and it was not out of turn meeting".
