RBS, Goldfinger win Wharton Infy business awards Thursday, June 9 2005 19:05 Hrs (IST) - World Time -  Bangalore:
RBS, and Yair Goldfinger, CTO, Dotomi Inc, who created personal, relevant and timely messaging channels, have won the Wharton Infosys Business Transformation Awards 2005 for Europe.
The "Enterprise Business Transformation Award" was presented to RBS for its understanding of the benefits of standardisation, centralisation and the use of technology to control the way its business grows, an Infosys statement said.
The "Technology Change Agent Award" was handed to Goldfinger, widely recognised as the 'Father of instant messaging' who, as one of the founders of ICQ, created the first internet-wide instant messenger, which is today used as a business and personal communication tool, it said.
