RIL notice to REL for not sharing audited results Wednesday, April 27 2005 21:40 Hrs (IST) - World Time - Mumbai:
Reliance Industries, headed by Mukesh Ambani, today (Apr 27, 2005) sent a notice to Reliance Energy, chaired by his younger brother Anil, for not sharing audited results with the parent company, but the energy company refuted the charge.
The communication followed the RIL Board meeting held earlier during the day where Anil had abstained from signing the financial accounts owing to absence of information and disclosure about related party transactions.

RIL officials told PTI that the notice was sent to REL Vice Chairman Satish Seth, a close associate of Anil, and sought a response by tomorrow.
When contacted, a REL spokesperson told PTI that accounts were furnished to RIL on the "date of publication of results" i.e. April 14, and subsequent details were also given to the parent company.
