Friday, April 22 2005 08:59 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

New Delhi: After Bangladesh, Tata Steel is eyeing doing business in Pakistan.

"We are looking at the possibility of doing something in Bangladesh. We are definitely exploring the possibilities of doing something in Pakistan," Tata Steel Managing Director B Muthuraman told news channel NDTV.

Pointing out that Pakistan can make primary steel and also has finishing facilities, he said the steel market in that country would rise with the economic growth.

"Pakistan has good market and I am sure that when Pakistan economy grows, it will have very good steel market," Muthuraman said.

He said best way to develop friendship among nations is through economics.

"Once there is cross-border movement of the people for friendship and trade, you will find friendship developing," the Tata Steel Managing Director said.
