Bangalore: Sanovi Technologies Corporation today (Apr 20, 2005) announced expansion of its R&D centre in Bangalore, saying it plans to invest $ 10 million in it in the next three years.

Sanovi, a business continuity and disaster recovery solutions company, also said it planned to double the headcount from 55 to 100 by the end of this year.

The company would continue to leverage the Indian talent poll to deliver Enterprise Software to the global market, Sanovi said in a statement in Bangalore.

Sanovi was also expanding its Indian sales and support operations. "We will continue to invest into the Indian market as we see significant growth potential," Sanovi co-founder and CEO Srinivas Pothapragada said.

According to IDC predictions for the Asia-Pacific, the DR market would grow from $ 551 million in 2001 to exceed $ 1.3 billion by 2006, it said.
