Mumbai: Anil Ambani-controlled Reliance Energy Ltd today (Apr 14, 2005) reported a 39.07 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 520.29 crore for the fiscal ended March 31, 2005, as against Rs 374.12 crore in the previous fiscal.

The board has declared a final dividend of 14 per cent making total dividend outgo of 47 per cent for the reporting fiscal.

Total income during the reporting fiscal rose to Rs 4,592.55 crore, as compared to Rs 3,582.70 crore in 2003-04, the company informed the Stock Exchange, Mumbai (BSE).

Net profit for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2005 rose to Rs 147.93 crore over Rs 103.79 crore in the previous fiscal figures while total income grew to Rs 1,589.94 crore (Rs 876.56 crore Q4-FY 04).
