Accenture's customer contact centre in Bangalore has been awarded Gold Standard certification by the Customer Operations Performance Centre Inc (COPC), becoming the first contact centre in the world to earn the highest certification from the leading authority on customer contact centre operations, the company said.
The audit for the Gold Standard Certification was undertaken by QAI India Ltd., COPC'S Partner in India, an Accenture statement said.
The COPC-2000 CSP Gold Standard details the requirements that a customer service provider must meet to ensure the quality of the products and services it delivers to end users and outsourcers, it said.
