IT company Hexaware Technologies Ltd has won multi-year open-ended contracts worth $10 million from two major North America-based global companies.
The first engagement is with a leading Fortune 500 firm, which selected Hexaware for its domain functional expertise and automation expertise in testing, the company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) today (Mar 21, 2005).
The project would involve environment creation and testing of PeopleSoft modules, it said.
The second deal is a strategic partnership formed between the company and a world-renowned accounting firm based in the US, it said.
The company would provide development, support and maintenance for the client's existing and new IT systems. It would work on multiple technology areas like Oracle, PeopleSoft and Microsoft Technologies, it said.
Hexaware Technologies president (North America operations) Hari Murthy said that these wins demonstrate the company's strengths in Enterprise Class Application Services Space across a broad range of technologies and verticals.
"Our new clients have picked us on our ability to de-risk their business-critical initiatives with strong domain knowledge of client businesses and our expertise in the unique technologies that drive them," he said.
North America is a key market for the company, accounting for 9.8 per cent of Rs 1,570 million software revenue in the last quarter of 2004.
