New Delhi: In a bid to woo Indian passengers travelling to New York from Mumbai, Emirates airlines today (Feb 24, 2005) slashed its rates and also included a package of free Dubai stopover till March 31.

Emirates announced a special economy class prices to New York which is vaild upto March 31.

As per the new schedule, an economy class passenger travelling to New York will have to pay Rs 38,000 one way against Rs 47,315, a company release said in New Delhi.

The Dubai-based airline operates 43 Flights per week from its five Indian gateway cities to Dubai and onward daily services to JFK airport in New York.

All passengers travelling with return tickets in first, business and economy class from India to the United States, Britain and Continental Europe can enjoy a free night's stopover in Dubai, it said and added that the package included hotel accomodation and airport transfer and was vaild for travel till March 31.
