PM to inaugurate Infosys training centre in Mysore

Bangalore: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will inaugurate the corporate training centre of software major Infosys Technologies in Mysore on February 12, the company said today (Feb 3, 2005).

Singh will also visit the Infosys Leadership Institute, which is located in the same campus in Mysore, it said in a statement in Bangalore.

With the centre, Infosys will centralise its training facility in Mysore and train over 12,000 fresh engineering graduates annually.

"As we enter the era of global governance, we aim to create outstanding global leaders who balance intelligence with sensitivity. We are honoured that one of India's most dynamic leaders, Manmohan Singh is inaugurating our training centre," Infosys Chairman and Chief Mentor N R Narayana Murthy said.
