The board meeting of the Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) to discuss the financial performance of the third quarter was held in cordial atmosphere and there were no rumblings between the two warring brothers.

The meeting was held in cordial atmosphere and there were no rumblings and no issues other than financial performance for the third quarter were discussed, RIL director Y P Trivedi told reporters after attending the meeting at the corporate headquarters at Nariman Point in Mumbai.

The good performance is due to better sales and improved margins during the third quarter, he said.
The next board meeting is likely to be held in March, he added.
