'Anil willing for one-on-one meeting with Mukesh'
Thursday, January 20 2005 22:14 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

New Delhi: Anil Ambani is said to be willing to talk one-on-one to his elder brother Mukesh Ambani with a view to resolving the continuing feud between them, according to family sources.

Spotlight: Battle of Ambanis

Anil, who had sometime ago cautioned his brother recalling their father late Dhirubhai Ambani's advise to "beware of three c's -- chamchas, chelas and cronies is said to have suggested that the two of them can meet without presence of any outsiders and a solution may be found to end the public wrangling.

The Mukesh Ambani camp was very guarded in its reaction and said, "All this is mere speculation by the media". They denied having heard anything from Anil in this regard.

It was not clear whether the reports of the younger brother's willingness to talk directly with his elder brother was a serious offer or another tactical move on the eve of the board meeting of the Reliance Groups flagship company RIL in Mumbai tomorrow (Jan 21, 2005).
