Bangalore: EPSON India today (Dec 22, 2004) announced the launch of a new promotion for their projector models EMP-S1H and EMP-81 LCD projectors.

According to a press release, the promotion entitles the buyer of either of these projectors a free gift of the EPSON Stylus CX 1500 All in One.

The special offer has been branded "Projector Super Steal" and is targeted at corporate buyers of projectors. The promotion was kicked off on December 15, 2004 and will run till the end of January 2005 across India.

EPSON is confident that corporates will see great value in this offer, especially the small and medium enterprises that may be looking to invest for the first time or upgrade their existing projectors. The company expects that the offer of a multi-function device, which takes care of all printing, scanning and copying requirements will be attractive enough.

According to K Venkateswaran, Product Manager, Projectors, "The 'Projector Super Steal' Offer is the best possible deal one can get if one is looking for a new projector. We are confident that corporates will see true value in this offer because EPSON is bundling two extremely high quality and useful products to address this segment. The promotion is being backed up with print ads in Business Magazines and National Business Dailies along with a direct mailing exercise to 5000 top corporates and an online campaign," he added.

The EMP S1H is a reliable and affordable LCD projector. It offers 1400 ANSI lumens SVGA and weighs just 3.2 kgs. The EMP- 81 offers dual 2000/1500 ANSI lumens and weighs jus 4 Kgs. Both projectors offer superior image quality and performance and easy set up and operation. The EPSON Stylus CX 1500 boasts features like resolution of up to 2880x720 optimised dpi, one touch 4x6 photocopying, Scan Tool Light for effortless scanning and speeds of 12 ppm black and 5.4ppm colour and 11 cpm black and 4 cpm colour.

According to a recent report released by Decision Tree Consulting, EPSON is the world's No 1 projector company. In India, while the market is highly fragmented and competitive EPSON is among the top three brands in terms of sales.
