SEBI on trail: BSE to move 362 scrips to "T" Group Wednesday, December 1 2004 16:34 Hrs (IST)

Following a review of market trends with SEBI (Securities and Exchange Board of India), Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) will shift 362 stocks including Birla Kennametal, Ind-Swift Labs, Kinetic Engineering to "T" group from December 6, to safeguard investor's interest.
As a part of surveillance review and pursuant to a meeting with SEBI, 362 stocks would be shifted to T group. They would be settled on Trade-to-Trade basis to ensure market safety, BSE said in a notice to the broking members today (Dec 1, 2004).
Some of the other stocks being shifted to T category include Kirloskar Pneumatic, Mahindra Ugine Steel, Nicco, Roto Pumps, Salora International, Talbros Automotive Components, Torrent Gujarat Biotech, Veronica Labs and Zodiac Clothing, it added.
The broking members should take adequate precaution while trading in above scrips as the settlement would be done on trade-to-trade basis and no netting-off positions was allowed in these scrips.
