'Britain does not consider outsourcing a threat' Wednesday, December 1 2004 12:28 Hrs (IST)
New Delhi:
Britain does not consider outsourcing a threat, nor is it surprised that a lot of outsourcing services are being routed to India, British High Commissioner Michael Arthur said in New Delhi.
"My Government has a robust approach towards outsourcing and we are not surprised that a lot of outsourcing services are being sent to India, which you are capable of," he said during an interactive session with the Forum of Financial Writers last evening (Nov 30, 2004).
"It is in the interest of both the countries and beneficial for both the economies," he said adding that even the trade unions understood this logic and accepted outsourcing as a two-way flow.
