Vijaya Bank revises interest rates on home loans Tuesday, November 30 2004 12:11 Hrs (IST)

Vijaya bank has revised the rate of interest on domestic term deposits and home loans with effect from today (Nov 29, 2004).
The bank said in a statement the step was taken "taking into account the prevailing market and bank's own requirement".
The rates of interest on term deposits with existing rates in brackets , according to the statement are:
15-45 days: 5 % (four);
46-90 days: 5 % (4.25);
91-179 days: 5 % (4.5);
180 days to less than one year: 5.5 % (4.75);
1 year to less than 2 years: 5.75 % (5.25);
2 years to less than 3 years: 5.75 % (5.25);
3 years to less than 5 years: 6 % (5.5);
5 years and above 6.5 % (6).
