Bangalore: Oracle India and Dell India today (Nov 24, 2004) extended their global alliance in India to provide customers with a single point of contact for their Linux and Oracle real application cluster (RAC) computing requirements.

The partnership will enable customers to deploy Oracle products on Dell servers running Linux, a statement said in Bangalore.

"Dell and Oracle have long supported a low-cost, standards-based approach to enterprise computing," Oracle India managing director Shekar Dasgupta said.
