Mumbai: Mansingh L Bhakta, Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) director who had expressed desire to quit the company's board, will reconsider his decision to resign. Reliance group chairman Mukesh Ambani today (Nov 24, 2004) met Bhakta and the latter had agreed to reconsider his resignation, RIL said in a release in Mumbai today (Nov 24, 2004). Bhakta, who has been on the board since 1977, had yesterday (Nov 24, 2004) sent a letter expressing his desire to step down from the board.
