Bangalore: Staffing firm TeamLease Services today (Nov 16, 2004) said it has introduced BPO-ITeS training for students of colleges and technical institutions with an aim to address the growing demand for the fast growing sector.

The three-to-seven-weeks programme focuses on training candidates in improving their vocabulary, enhancing their communication and soft skills, interview handling skills, neutralising the accent and career counselling among others, a company statement said in Bangalore.

TeamLease said a pilot project had been rolled out in Bangalore which will be expanded to smaller towns like Mysore and Mangalore over a period.
