Wednesday, November 10 2004 17:18 Hrs (IST)

Mumbai: Reliance Infocomm has launched Reliance India card that facilitates calls from its mobile or fixed wireless phone to any of its phone anywhere across the country at Re 1 minute and all other calls, including national long distance, at Rs 2 a minute.

The card, available to pre-paid and post-paid subscribers is available in denominations of Rs 110 and Rs 220, Reliance Infocomm said in a release on Wednesday (Nov 10, 2004).

Reliance Infocomm president (wireless products and services) S P Shukla said the card facilitates call at Re 1 a minute to Reliance phones and at Rs 2 a minute to any other GSM or landline service provider.

The card, which works on RIM phones that have outgoing call facility, ends all confusion over the multitude of tariff structures, peak and off time rates and calls made to different circles, the release added.
