Bangalore: Quantum Corp, a global leader in storage, and Wipro Technologies, the global IT services division of Wipro Limited, today (Nov 8, 2004) announced a strategic agreement in which Wipro will provide engineering and software design services to augment Quantum's internal storage systems resources.

Under the agreement, Wipro will share its expertise in developing feature enhancements, enabling Quantum to gain efficiencies through round-the-clock development and to continue bringing customer-driven innovation to its products, a Quantum statement said.

"Today's agreement extends an ongoing relationship between the two companies whereby Wipro has offered high-end storage solutions in India for the past four years using Quantum products," it was stated.
