Bangalore: Indian information technology icon N R Narayana Murthy today (Nov 3, 2004) said, "outsourcing is not a big issue", and expressed confidence that the winner of US Presidential elections - George W Bush or John Kerry - would further strengthen Indo-US bilateral relations.

"Outsourcing...I don't think these are big issues. Important issue is India-US relations is becoming stronger. I have no doubt at all (that it will be further strengthened)," the chairman of NASDAQ-listed Infosys Technologies Limited told reporters in a response.

"Already, there is good relations between India and the US. I am sure either of them will enhance that relations," Murthy said. "We are very happy to have either of them as a President. Both of them will be nice to India. Either of them will strengthen the India-US relations."

Infosys' chief operating officer, S Gopalakrishnan said the company has seen good growth in the US market in the past, and the last quarter was one of the best. "We are positive," Gopalakrishnan added.
