Bangalore: Jataayu Software, a leading vendor of mobile infrastructure software solutions, today (Oct 26, 2004) announced that US-based SureWest Communications Roseville has chosen Jataayu's wireless Internet and messaging solutions.

SureWest would deploy Jataayu's WAP Gateway and Multimedia Messaging Services Center (MMSC) to offer its subscribers new product offerings and business models, which would include WAP Push and Multimedia messages, a Jataayu statement said.

The new capability would also enable them to push personalised WAP and MMS content to its subscribers, while also creating awareness of data services and stimulating usage, it said.
