Acer's Jo Jeeta Wahi Sikander records good sales Wednesday, September 29 2004 12:56 Hrs (IST)
Bangalore:
Acer today (Sep 29, 2004) announced that it has increased sales from its retail network by over 70 per cent since the launch of its exclusive 'Jo Jeeta Wahi Sikandar' promotion programme targeted at its retail partners in August 2004.
Acer's notebook sales have increased by over 50 per cent and desktop sales doubled when compared to July 2004 sales, the company said in a release.
'Jo Jeeta Wahi Sikandar' was conceived to capitalise on the growing cricket season excitement in the country and an increasing propensity by customers to purchase computer hardware and software from branded retail outlets, it said.
The top scoring regions for Acer's retail initiatives have been the East region and Andhra Pradesh where almost 100 per cent of all partners have qualified for at least one of the categories, the release added.
