Chennai: Attracted by the growth explosion in the outsourcing business, the world's largest information communication technology (ICT) show CeBIT 2005 will set up a separate hall for business process outsourcing services.

CeBIT 2005, to be held from December 10 to 16 at Hannover in Germany, will showcase ICT-outsourcing services that will include process support, software development, network services, consulting and offshore service offerings.

CeBIT exhibitions are annual events, focussing on ICT solutions, the largest shows which bring together all relevant ICT solutions and services for managing business processes at one venue, a statement said in Chennai on Tuesday (Aug 17, 2004). This world's top event for ICT business and trade attracts over 500,000 visitors and 10,000 journalists from across the globe.

The release also said that Indian Ministry of Communications and Information Technology has already reserved around 400 square metres of display space.
