Concerto Software acquires Positive Software Systems Thursday, August 5 2004 18:42 Hrs (IST)

Concerto Software Inc, a provider of Contact-Centre Solutions announced today (Aug 5, 2004) that it has acquired substantially all assets and certain liabilities of Positive Software Systems, Inc (PSS).
PSS is a provider of software solutions that optimises sales and collection activities for telemarketing companies, service bureaus and enterprise contact centres.
The announcement comes close on the heels of the announcement of acquisition of CentreForce Technology by Concerto Software earlier this year.
"With the addition of PSS to the Concerto Software family, we strengthen our ongoing commitment to being a complete solutions provider for all of our customers' contact centre requirements," said Jim Foy, president and CEO of Concerto Software.
Concerto Software has been following a consistent growth strategy through M&A to enhance its capabilities and reach out to new markets.
Concerto Software was born with Davox Corporation acquiring CELLIT, Inc in the year 2002.
