Orient Networks, Netsol announce outsourcing deal
Saturday, July 31 2004 12:17 Hrs (IST)

Bangalore: Orient Networks and Network Solutions (Netsol) on Friday (Jul 30, 2004) announced an outsourcing pact and a global strategic partnership that will form the basis of a planned future growth for both the firms.

Addressing growth opportunities in the global information and communications technology (ICT) environment, both companies see this as a vital partnership in delivering enhanced service offerings to the growing regional and global market, an Orient release said.

The outsourcing deal is valued at $2 million and transfers a portion of Orient Network's operational capabilities to Netsol, it said.

Together, Orient Networks and Netsol will offer traditional telecom capacity products as well as enterprise value-added services like network management, security and outsourced messaging under the joint initiative to be launched in September this year, it said.
