Wipro bags maintenance contract from Loyalty Gate Tuesday, July 27 2004 20:27 Hrs (IST)

IT major Wipro today (July 27, 2004) said it has bagged a multi-year contract for application maintenance, support and development from European firm Loyalty Gate Ltd.
The contract for Loyalty Gate's application is used for providing loyalty services to three leading European airlines, a Wipro statement said in Bangalore.
Wipro did not specify the value of the three-year contract.
"Wipro's offshore delivery capabilities, its presence in Europe, application support and maintenance of iSeries, and understanding of the airline related applications during due diligence was impressive, which eventually proved decisive in selecting Wipro over other suppliers," Loyalty Gate, Head IT and Operations, Khushnud Irani said.
