Bangalore: Jataayu Software today (Jul 5, 2004) announced that it has entered into an alliance with MontaVista Software Inc., to make available Jataayu's infrastructure and mobile device solutions on the MontaVista Linux platform.

The alliance will enable wireless operation and device manufacturers to leverage the combined capabilities of Jataayu and MontaVista technologies. Wireless operations and device manufacturers can access interoperable SMS, MMS, WAP and IMPS solutions on carrier-grade and embedded Linux platforms, Jataayu said in a statement.
