Dabhol: GE, Bechtel seek recovery of Rs 26,000 cr
The restarting process of the 2184 MW Dabhol power plant has received a jolt with promoters GE and Bechtel slapping an arbitration notice on Maharashtra State Electricity Board (MSEB) for recovery of Rs 26,000 crore towards investments and lost profits in the venture.

Sensex up by 79 points on FII purchases; ends at 4874
After a brief overnight pause, stocks rallied smartly lifting the Sensex by 79 points at close in brisk activity at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) today on heavy buying support from institutional investors.
