Petrol prices hiked by Rs 2, diesel by Re 1

New Delhi: Government today hiked petrol prices by Rs 2 per litre and diesel prices by Re 1 besides raising domestic cooking gas LPG prices by Rs 20 a cylinder in Delhi.

Petrol in Delhi will now cost Rs 35.70 a litre while a litre of diesel will cost Rs 22.73.

LPG cylinder will now cost Rs 261, up from Rs 241 at present, sources said.
